Chennai: History-sheeter hacked to death by four over ganja peddling; accused nabbed – Times Now

Chennai: In a shocking incident, a history-sheeter was brutally murdered by a group of around four persons, including a juvenile on Saturday night in Chennai. As per the report, the city police have identified four accused in this case, who have been identified as Karthik (28), Surya (22), Sakthivel (20), and a juvenile.
The deceased has been identified as Madhan, who was a murder accused and was recently released on bail. As per the police report, he was murdered due to a dispute between two gangs involved in ganja peddling in the region. Three of the accused have been remanded in judicial custody while the juvenile accused was sent to the correction facility for boys and girls in Kellys.
During the initial investigation probe, police have identified a gang which was led by Manickam, while the rival drug peddling was led by Sathya, according to The Times of India report.
The murder was committed in retaliation to the murder of Sathya’s associate and was recently arrested for not appearing for the court trial.
According to the police, Madhan was out on bail to attend a relative’s death and was murdered by the rival gang.
